I loved wearing this skirt today. It is made from taking a bunch of measurements and marking them on the wrong side of your fabric to make two half circles inside each other. One is for the waist, the other is the hem. This means there is a lot of volume, which results in lots of swirl action. I felt very girly today. I found the tutorial on Pinterest.
I do have to admit that I messed up something with this skirt because when I finished and tried it on–yikes! It was super short. Like not able to bend over at all short. Hence the added black ruffle. All in all though, I like it a lot. The greatest thing happened today–TWO strangers complimented me on it and asked where I got it. How cool is that?
