The Lost Years by Mary Higgins Clark

Reading Mary Higgins Clark takes me back in time. It is like meeting an old friend for coffee, I like the author’s writing style that much.

What happens when greed trumps friendship and the end result is death? This is what Mariah must find out while dealing with the grief of losing her father and trying to prove that her mother who is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease did not commit the murder, despite her unstable moments.

Even though I knew “who-did-it” early on in this story, it was still a great escape read. I finished the book in a day, and was wishing it would have been longer.
